About This Archive
A short, factual note on what Sunray Image is — and what it is not.
An independent educational reference
Sunray Image is an independently run educational reference about digital imaging, image and video formats, and legacy YUV topics. The writing and examples here are original work created for this site.
Not the original company or developer
Sunray Image is not the original Sunray Image company, and it is not the developer of YUVTools. It is not affiliated with, associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them, and it does not represent their work as its own.
No archived software or downloads
This archive does not provide archived software, downloads, installation files, licenses, or technical support. The YUVTools page and Examples page describe formats and historical functions for educational purposes only — they are not product pages and do not offer anything for download.
Why we cover legacy topics
Raw YUV formats and the functions once associated with tools like YUVTools remain relevant to people learning how digital video works. Covering them here, in original wording, helps keep that knowledge accessible. All product names are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for identification and description only.
